Marlborough School
…is a well established, inclusive and welcoming primary school with a full time nursery and awesome facilities.
The school has been in existence since 1878 and moved into its new school in 2017. We are very proud of its place within the diverse local community. From September 2020, the school has new leadership and welcomed Sally Keck (Head of School) and Jagdeep Birdi (Executive Head).

At Marlborough we seek to achieve high academic standards within an atmosphere of respect for others and an understanding of all people and cultures. Our school community creates a safe, secure and happy environment that enables children to learn with encouragement. The School is committed to providing a broad, balanced, challenging and exciting educational experience for all children, in order to promote their full academic, personal and social development. We acknowledge that every child is an individual and therefore we aim to develop and nurture individual talents, enthusiasm and a genuine, life-long love of learning.
Our bespoke nursery enables children to start in in the term after they are three years old with some joining later. We also admit children at the start of reception and after the start of school as in year admissions to all year groups.
Make it stand out.
We are very excited about our new building which opened on 11th September 2017. The new building is spacious, light and generously resourced. It has state of the art facilities including outdoor learning spaces, two large hall spaces, a community room, a dance studio, a creative media suite, an art, design and science teaching room and a multi-use games area on the roof. Marlborough also has its own specialist autism provision.
From September 2021, the school will employ specialist teachers that will enable us to use the building to its full potential. Every class will be taught a lesson each week by the following specialist teachers:
